About the Event
Taking place in Singapore from October 21 to 23, 2024, the 25th Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and Western Pacific (AESIEAP) CEO Conference will bring together industry leaders from across the region to build on strategic conversations and collaborative efforts toward the energy transition. This invite-only event offers a unique opportunity to network, share insights, and foster collaboration.
The theme for this year’s event, “Empowering the Energy Transition”, encapsulates our ambition to empower stakeholders throughout the energy ecosystem to accelerate cross-border collaborations, and lead action towards a sustainable future.
Among other important topics of discussion, a key focus at this year’s conference is the development of interconnected power grids as enablers of our region’s energy transition. We will delve into meaningful dialogues on the development and implementation of integrated power systems, which are vital for enhancing energy security, promoting sustainable energy practices, and supporting economic growth across the ASEAN region.
About AESIEAP
Founded in 1975, the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and Western Pacific (AESIEAP) is the largest international non-governmental organisation in the power industry within the East Asia and Western Pacific region. At present, the members of AESIEAP comprises of more than 62 organizations from 18 countries and regions. The mission of the AESIEAP is to build an international communication platform for the power industry in Asia Pacific to accelerate collaborations between members, share expertise, conduct meaningful dialogues and forge partnerships to facilitate the energy transition.
Today, the AESIEAP flagship events have become the largest and most influential ones in the power industry in Asia Pacific. Among them, the two most important events - AESIEAP CEO Conference and Conference of the Electricity Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) - are held biennially.
Singapore will be host nation to the 25th iteration of the AESIEAP CEO Conference in 2024 and CEPSI in 2025, with SP Group as the organising committee.
