About AESIEAP

Founded in 1975, the Association of the Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and Western Pacific (AESIEAP) is the largest international non-governmental organisation in the power industry within the East Asia and Western Pacific region for the last 50 years. Members of AESIEAP comprises over 69 organisations from 18 countries and regions, and is represented by 16 council members. The mission of the AESIEAP is to build an international communication platform for the power industry in Asia Pacific to accelerate collaborations between members, share expertise, conduct meaningful dialogues and forge partnerships to facilitate the energy transition. Today, the AESIEAP flagship events have become the largest and most influential ones in the power industry in Asia Pacific.
AESIEAP Presidency rotates between members in fixed 2-year terms and the Group CEO of SP Group is currently the President of AESIEAP. SP Group hosted the 25th iteration of the AESIEAP CEO Conference in 2024 and continues to be the organising committee for CEPSI in 2025.
SP Group is committed to honouring the legacy of this esteemed association in creating a meaningful meeting of minds to drive conversations and actions towards a net-zero energy future.
