Dr. Allen Wang is the Executive Director at S&P Global Commodity Insights, heading the Power and Renewables research team for the APAC region (excluding China). With 15 years of experience in power and renewables markets across various countries, Dr. Wang is a highly experienced energy market thought leader. He is leading the insights and advisory services to commercial clients in energy market planning, regulation, operation, and policies.
Dr. Wang is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Energy (AIE) and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is an Industry Supervisor for research students in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Dr. Wang holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, and a Ph.D. from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.
