Dr Matthew Rowe is a global leading expert in Power Systems and Energy Storage and currently the Director of the Renewables and Power Grids businesses in DNV Energy Systems Asia Pacific. Prior to his current role, he led the DNV Energy Storage business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Dr Rowe is a Chartered Engineer and has a PhD in Power Systems – he has published in internationally recognised energy journals, and often presents at academic and industrial conferences around the world.
He has led and worked on over 200+ Power Grids and Renewables projects globally with key industry stakeholders such as System Operators, Regulators, Governments, Utilities, Investors, Developers and Network Operators.
