Detlev Waimann

Detlev Waimann was named Transmission Chief Commercial Officer in July 2020 and is currently responsible for leading the Group’s submarine power, submarine telecom, high-voltage underground and offshore specialties. As Chief Commercial Officer, Detlev manages complex international offshore and onshore turnkey cable projects from end to end, as well as the commercial sales of commodity products worldwide. Prior to his current role, Detlev also served as the Chief Commercial Officer for the Germany and high-voltage central east Europe Project for Prysmian Group from December 2018 through June 2020. Detlev holds an electrical engineering degree from Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, Germany.
