Venu Nuguri

Member of the Global Executive Team at Hitachi Energy and head of Region South Asia and India at Hitachi Energy, N Venu is shaping the way Hitachi Energy pioneers future power systems that are increasing access to reliable, flexible, sustainable, and affordable energy.

He is the recipient of several felicitations and awards in recognition of his contribution towards nation-building. This includes the CEO of the Year award by The Machinist in 2024, and by India Achiever Forum in 2022. He also the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2022 from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal.

Venu is the voice of the energy industry, executing leadership roles in industry bodies like the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and committing to thought leadership across Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore and in forums such as the Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM) and Mission Innovation (MI) forums, the Energy Transition Dialogues (TETD), CIGRE and CEPSI.
